| Remarks | 岡本緑邨(1811〜81)による、それぞれ夏と秋の蜜柑山の風光を題材とした山水図の双幅である。紀州の特産として、夏には蜜柑の白い花が咲き、秋には蜜柑の実が実る有田地方の風景をイメージしているのであろう。落款は、「文久元年辛酉夏(秋)日、緑邨寫」(款記)、「岡本邦直」(白文方印)、「季温」(朱文方印)とあり、文久元年(1861)の作である。緑邨は幕末から明治初期にかけて活躍し、色彩鮮明な花鳥図やさまざまなタイプの山水図を描いた画人で、その画域は広く、比較的多くの作品が残されている。経歴・出自については明らかではないが、紀州の三大文人画家の一人・野呂介石(1747〜1828)の高弟であった、紀伊藩お抱え絵師･野際白雪(1773〜1849)らの影響を受けている可能性がある。名は邦直、字は季温など。 |
