| Remarks | 和船研究者の石井謙治氏が収集した船名額。この額は、紀伊藩の御召関船であった「文彩丸」に掛けられた。藩主が使用する御召関船（海御座船）は、幕府の大型船建造禁止令により、500石以下に制限され、櫓数は70挺立前後、船体は１本水押の二階または三階造、上部を惣屋倉で囲い、中に屋形が設けられた。この船名額は、中央に「文彩丸」の文字を彫り込んで金箔を押し、他の部分は黒漆が施されている。裏面は、艫屋倉の前面に掲げるため、鉄金具が付けられている。幕末には、文彩丸は和歌祭当日に、片男波の沖合の「船舞」に使用されるようになった。 |
