| Remarks | 紀伊藩のお抱え絵師・岩瀬広隆(1808～77)が、嘉永４年(1851)、広隆44歳の時に、玩具としての土人形を描いた作品。向かって左に、立ち姿で着物の裾をなびかせる女性を描き、その右下には、笠を膝前にして座る旅姿風の僧侶を配している。朴訥とした姿から、いずれも京都の伏見地方で作られた伏見人形を描いたものと思われ、女性の帯や羽織、および僧侶の笠の部分には、彩色の上から金砂子が蒔かれているが、これらは当初からの表現とみられ、彩色と相俟って華麗で装飾的な画面を演出している。 |
