| Remarks | 紀伊藩のお抱え絵師・岩瀬広隆(1808～77)が、安政６年(1859)、広隆52歳の時に、横長の画面に冬から春にかけて咲く花や植物を描いたもの。画面向かって右から、松・山茶花・水仙・万年青・白梅が描かれ、いずれもまだ寒い冬から初春の時期に花をつけたり、冬でも変わらず緑を保つ常緑植物であることから、新春などを寿ぐのにふさわしい吉祥の寓意を持つ主題であると考えられる。 |
