| Remarks | 岩上の蓮台に座り、光背を伴った六臂如意輪観音坐像を中央に配し、上部には「熊野山」、下部には願主・結縁者名を、全て色とりどりの刺繡で表した繡仏。画面左下に設けた枠内に、「南無阿弥陀仏、作者心窓常圓、貞享四年八月十七日、道香信士・妙香信女敬白」とあり、貞享４年(1687)、心窓常圓の作と判明する。肉身部と背景を除き、冠・髪・着衣・光背・台座を緻密な刺繡で埋め、金糸を多用して荘厳さを増した入念の出来である。本来は掛幅装であったが、改装されて額装となっている。 |
