| Remarks | 太地鯨組の宰領をつとめた太地角右衛門家に伝来した三味線。４枚の胴板が分離した状態で、皮・弦・根緒や駒などの部品も失われ、棹や胴・糸巻などの三味線の基幹の部材のみが残されている。胴板４枚の外面には、「あふことは 雲井はるかに なるかみの をとにきゝつゝ 戀わたるかな」という紀貫之の和歌（『古今和歌集』）が、金泥で記される。撥が２本付属し（紫檀製(撥先象牙)と象牙製）、桐材の塗箱には「夕霧」という墨書箱書が確認できる。この「夕霧」とは、江戸時代前期に大坂・新町遊郭にいた夕霧太夫(？～1678)という名妓で、太地角右衛門頼治が、夕霧太夫からこの三味線を贈られたと伝えられている。 |
