| Remarks | 太地角右衛門頼治の末裔・太地覚吾(1833～1909)が即興で描いた馬の絵で、馬の後ろ姿を軽妙に描いている。絵の上部に、「むまむまと おだてに乗りて はしりがき これぞ天晴れ 反故にする墨」という自賛の狂歌が記されている。「むまむまと」は馬、「する墨」は源頼朝の家臣・梶原景季の愛馬「磨墨」に掛けられている。和歌山県知事であった清棲家教（1903～07在任）が、太地浦を視察した際に、求めに応じて描いたと太地家では伝承されている。 |
