| Remarks | 紀伊徳川家第15代当主であった徳川頼倫(1872～1925)が描いた菱餅に桃花の図。款記によれば、大正10年(1921)の上巳の節句に和歌浦の別邸・双青寮で描いた作品である。画面上方の余白に愛国的な和歌３首を記すが、これは大正10年が、神武天皇が即位したとされる、同じ辛酉の年であったことと関わりがあるものと推測される。 |
