| Remarks | 本品は、大和絵をよくし、紀州徳川家10代藩主治宝の留筆となった山沢与平(1812～?、号は讀画)の69歳の時の作品である。烏帽子に直衣姿の万葉歌人･山部赤人(?〜736?)が描かれ、上方には波間から飛び立つ鶴が３羽みえる。赤人の有名な｢若の浦に 潮満ち来れば 潟をなみ 葦辺をさして 鶴鳴き渡る｣の万葉歌（『万葉集』巻六(918)）を題材にしたものであろう。この歌は、聖武天皇(701〜56)が神亀元年(724)に和歌浦へ行幸した際の従駕歌で、鶴が和歌浦のシンボルとなるきっかけとなった。 |
