| Remarks | 紀伊藩の御用絵師･笹川遊原(1829～81)による、古典に題材をとった作品である。源義朝の愛妾･常磐御前が、平治の乱後、今若･乙若(のちの範頼)･牛若(のちの義経)の３子の助命を請うため、平清盛邸に雪中おもむく様子を描いたもので、ほかにも松村呉春などの作品がある。画面左下に、「遊原昌信(墨書)」、「昌信之印(白文方印)」、「蕭々斎(朱文方印)」の落款が据えられている。 |
