| Remarks | 静御前は、平安時代末期に京都で舞の名手として知られていた白拍子で、壇ノ浦合戦ののち源頼朝と不和になった義経とともに京都を出奔した。吉野で義経と別れた静は、その後京都や鎌倉で義経の行方について厳しい尋問を受けたが答えず、鎌倉･鶴岡八幡宮で頼朝やその妻･政子の求めに応じて舞を舞って、その美しさに魅了させたという。本品の作者･川合小梅は、幕末から明治にかけて紀州で活躍した女性の画人である。 |
