| Remarks | 祇園南海(1676〜1751)が山水図を描き、画面右上の余白に紀伊藩の儒学者･伊藤蘭嵎(1694～1778)が著賛したもの。賛は、李白の七言律詩「登金陵鳳凰臺詩」の第６句からとったものである。左下にある南海の印章「阮瑜之印」「白玉氏」から、南海最晩年の作と考えられる。関防印は「游戯三昧」である。樹木の表現などには稚拙な点もみられるが、やや俯瞰した構図や雲の配置と表現、波の描き方などには初期文人画の模索的な描法がうかがわれる。蘭嵎が京都から移って紀州に定住するのは、延享３年(1746)以降のことで、同じ藩儒としての交流の中で制作された作品であろう。 |
