| Remarks | 明治33(1900)年に、和歌山～五条間の紀和鉄道が全通したことにより、高野山への参詣客・観光客で山麓の高野口はにぎわうようになった。大正11(1922)年には、高野登山自動車会社が高野口駅から中腹の椎出間で乗合自動車(バス)の営業を開始し、昭和4(1929)年には、高野山電気鉄道が極楽橋まで鉄道を延長するなど、高野山に至る交通機関はめまぐるしく変化をみせた。この資料は、乗合自動車が営業を開始した直後の時期に、高野山の宿坊・地蔵院を参詣客に宣伝したポスターである。 |
