| Remarks | 護国院(紀三井寺)の境内の様子を版行した図である。江戸時代後期の『紀伊国名所図会』に掲載された境内図と比べると、建物の配置はあまり変わらないが、遠近法の技法が用いられている点が特徴的である。18世紀後半に建てられたとされる六角堂(札所)の位置が現在と異なっており、当初の版木は18世紀ころの景観を描いたものであったと考えられる。一方、本坊の一部や芭蕉塚の碑文を記した部分は、明治24年(1891)に修訂された部分と考えられる。 |
