| Remarks | 本品は、いずれも紀州の三大文人画家の一人・野呂介石(1747〜1828)の書状5通を成巻したものである。第1通のみ宛先が記されていないが、おそらく5通とも「南嶽」という人に宛てて出されたものと考えられる。この人物については明らかではないが、書状の中で介石はかなり敬意を示していることから、身分や年齢が上であったことがうかがわれる。なお、18世紀末〜19世紀初めに和歌山城下で活動した的場南岳という文人画家がいるようであるが、これも詳細は不明である。 |
