| Remarks | 紀伊藩領であった伊勢･松阪の出身で、京で活動した南画家･青木夙夜(?〜1802)による山水図。木々の葉を扇形にして重ね、若葉の時期の森のこんもりとした様子をあらわす。近景の大木の間にある亭に人物がみえ、また中景の水面に飛び出した岩の上にも一人の人物がたたずんでいる。落款は、「庚寅春日寫、東山餘夙夜」（款記）、「餘夙夜」・「餘俊明」（白文方印）。夙夜は、名は俊明、字は春塘･八岳と号した。書家の韓天寿(1727〜95)の従兄弟といわれ、百済の余璋王の後裔を自称したため、餘夙夜や餘俊明の名も用いた。絵を京の池大雅(1723〜76)に学んで、山水画をよくし、大雅堂に居住したという。 |
