| Remarks | 松丘(1765～1833)は、和歌山吹上寺の住職で、法名を円水と称した。豊後竹田（大分県）の田能村竹田(1777〜1835)ら全国の文人たちと交流し、また紀州では野呂介石(1747〜1828)や崖南嶠(1769〜1813)らと文化芸術サロンを主催した。紫陽花の絵を好んで描き「紫陽花和尚」と呼ばれたが、画域は幅広く、山水や四君子にも味わい深い作品が多い。この芦雁図は、芦の生えた水辺に降りて羽を休める雁のつがいを水墨で描く。比較的速い筆致ながらも、景物の特徴をうまく表現している。自作自筆の七言絶句の題詩は、渡り鳥としての雁に関する知識がふまえられたものである。 |
