| Remarks | 芳野(吉野)とは、一般的に紀ノ川上流の吉野川流域をさすが、奈良時代以降修験の霊場として発展し、金峯山寺への御嶽詣も盛んに行なわれた。一方、江戸時代前期には材木の有力な生産地となり、紀ノ川を利用した筏による流送で、大坂市場と結びつくようになった。この資料は、桜が満開の吉野山を中心に吉野川を下流からさかのぼって行くという構成で、山水画の手法を用いながら精密に描かれている。微細ではあるが、筏流しの様子が描かれている点も興味深い。 |
