| Remarks | 太田焼は、明治8(1875)年から約5年間、宮井佐兵衛(生没年不詳)が名草郡太田村(和歌山市太田)に開いた窯で製造された焼物で、偕楽園焼の交趾写の模造品(輸出用)や海鼠釉の花生・徳利などが主要な製品であった。この資料は、鉄釉に海鼠釉をかけた鉢で、典型的な太田焼の作品である。変化に富んだ釉薬の発色や、動きのある釉の流がみどころになっている。底面の印刻銘には、「物化堂」とある。 |
