| Remarks | 狩野興益(?～1705)は、父狩野興甫(?～1671)の跡を継いで、万治3年(1660)から元禄11年(1698)まで紀伊藩御用絵師の2代目を勤めた。また、延宝2年(1674)から2年間、狩野探幽(1602～74)に率いられて幕府の京都御所造営事業に参加し、障壁画の制作に従事した。本品は、雪中の笹の下、牡丹の脇にうずくまる鶏を実写的に描いた興益の作品である。 |
