| Remarks | 狩野興益(?～1705)は、父狩野興甫(?～1671)の跡を継いで、万治3(1660)年から元禄11(1698)年まで紀州藩御用絵師の2代目を勤めた。また、延宝2(1674)年から2年間、狩野探幽(1602～74)に率いられて幕府の京都御所造営事業に参加し、障壁画の制作に従事した。この資料は、標準的な興益の作品で、雪中にうずくまる鶏を実写的に描いたものである。 |
