| Remarks | 荒川経として著名な平安時代後期の紺紙金字一切経の1巻で、平治元(1159)年に鳥羽法皇追善のために皇后・美福門院によって高野山に寄進されたものである。その際、一切経会料として荒川荘(桃山町)が寄進されたことにこの経巻の名前の由来がある。この資料は、古く高野山から流出したものであるが、高野山に伝来する3,575巻は一括して重要文化財に指定されている。 |
