| Remarks | 浅野長晟(1586～1632)は、慶長18(1613)年に兄幸長の跡を継いで紀伊藩浅野家2代藩主となり、元和5年(1619)に安芸国広島へ転封になるまで、紀伊国を統治した。この書状は、紀伊藩主になった1年後の慶長19年(1614)におこった大坂冬の陣への出陣が遅れた事情を、徳川家康の側近であった竹腰山城守正信(1591〜1645)へ11月6日に伝え、徳川家康へのとりなしを依頼したものである。長晟は10月19日に江戸から和歌山ヘ戻り、26日にはまず新宮の浅野忠吉を大阪へ向かわせ、自らは11月3日に出陣していた。 |
