| Remarks | 板文庫とは、近世のおもに公家が用いた草子挟みの1種で、2枚の板で冊子を挟み、組紐で結ぶようになっているのが一般的である。この資料は、さらに硯箱の機能を備えたもので、上の板上に硯・筆・墨・水滴・刀子・錐を配置する。船の帆の形をした硯は那智の黒石、筆の軸は和歌浦の葦、墨は藤白墨、兎の形の水滴は大崎の白石、刀子・錐の鞘と硯の蓋は田辺の白栩という各地の特産品で製作され、下の板面には吹上の白菊が描かれる。硯の蓋には、葵紋が金泥で描かれ、帆の形の硯の背景として、上の板面に波濤も描かれている。 |
