| Remarks | 桑山玉洲は、独自の南画様式を確立する30代半ばころまでは、長崎派(南蘋系)の影響の下で、細密な写生画を学んでいたことがうかがわれる。この資料は、その時期の特徴がよく表された作品で、水草に戯れる鯉と川蝦を描く。いわゆる「藻魚図」という画題であり、さらに「登竜門」の鯉、順調の意味のある蝦など、いずれも吉祥の要素が含まれている。 |
