Remarks 　紀州石堂鍛冶の第２世代の刀工・康広による刀。中反りやや深く、均整のとれた小鋒の姿で、棒樋を鋒から茎の上まで通し、丸止めとする。地鉄は板目肌が詰み、刃文は互の目に箱乱が交じり、丁字足がさかんに入る。帽子は、乱れ込んで地蔵となる。茎には筋違鑢がかけられ、茎尻は磨上げて浅い刃上栗尻としている。銘文の書風から、17世紀半ばに活動した初代康広の作と考えられ、備中守を受領した明暦３年(1657)以後、和歌山から大坂へ移ったのちの作である。銘文の上に、菊紋が刻まれている。赤羽刀。
