| Remarks | 鎬造、庵棟の脇指で、ふくらついた猪首鋒として、反りは浅く、ずんぐりとした姿である。地鉄は、平地は杢目肌が起ち、鎬地は板目肌が詰む。幅広く焼いた匂出来の刃文は、湾れに互の目で、刃際に玉を焼き、丁字足が入る。帽子は、湾れ込んで掃き掛けて返る。茎には、上が切、下が勝手下りの化粧鑢がかけられ、茎尻は磨上げて一文字となる。江戸石堂の作を示す銘字は下が切られているが、本国美濃で秦姓の東連による作品の可能性が高い。東連は、守久という名で慶安ごろから作刀し、延宝４年(1676)に入道して東連と改名した。赤羽刀。 |
