| Remarks | 崖南嶠の花鳥図に、父親の崖熊野が讃をしたためた、親子合作の一幅である。叭々鳥は、羽の白い部分が飛んでいる時に「八」の字に見えることから、数の多いことを示す「八百」に通じるものとして、吉祥画題として用いられた。この鳥は中国原産で日本には生息しておらず、中国絵画の影響を受けて日本の花鳥画によく描かれた。画面右下に｢紀藩南嶠樵者写｣の落款と「弘興之印」「崖氏」の白文方印がある。熊野の讃は、独特の筆跡で、｢秋冬之丹不如春夏紅、華好者亦不会有時乎、哇哇、熊野老人題｣とあり、「口教之有楽地」の関防印、「弘毅之印」「剛先父」の落款印が押されている。紀州藩に学をもって仕えた熊野･南ｷｮｳ合作の優品の一つである。 |
