| Remarks | 江戸時代後期の南画家･谷文晁(1763～1840)は、脳裏に浮かぶいわば空想的な山水図だけでなく、景勝の地を訪れて実際の風景を写した「真景図」の名手としても知られている。この4面は､８面１組の画帖の後半にあたるもので、各面に道成寺･熊野本宮･新宮城大伴崎･高山村の景観を、丁寧に描いている。谷文晁が紀伊各地を訪れた寛政８(1796)年の作である。 |
