| Remarks | 近世の和歌山城下町を描いた「和歌山城下町絵図」で、和歌山城下瓦町の寺嶋甚兵衛家に伝来したという。城下の東部と南部とは欠損している。別筆の注記は、万治３年(1660)の作とするが、紀伊藩家老の水野家が「水野大炊守」と名乗るのは５代目水野忠昭で、その時期は正徳４年(1714)～５年であること、万治３年(1660)以降に創建された報恩寺や円如寺などが記されていることから、制作年代は享保年間(1716～36)に下る。 |
