| Remarks | 富貴の花とされる牡丹の花をかたどり、表裏に葉と茎をそえる意匠の皿である。浅黄釉と紫釉をかけたこの種の牡丹皿は、しばしば偕楽園焼の作品にみられるが、本品にはその銘がなく、牡丹の花弁や葉脈が細かい手彫りで表現されていることなどから、瑞芝窯で焼成された偕楽園写の作品と考えられる。御庭焼である偕楽園の名をはばかり無銘とするのは、偕楽園写瑞芝焼の通例である。 |
