| Remarks | 幕末から明治前期に活動した紀州の大和絵師・山沢与平(1812～？)により、「日高川草紙」（「賢学草紙」）を模写したもの。自筆の奥書によれば、原本は「或人所蔵之本」ということであるが、おそらくは酒井家旧蔵本（重要美術品）、もしくはその系統の忠実な写本であり、諸家伝来の古絵巻の模写を行ったことで知られる与平の画業の一つに付け加えることができるであろう。ただし、彩色の一部は色指定の墨書にとどめ、また奥書によれば、詞書の解読できない部分はそのままの状態で記したということであるから、画技の習熟のために模写した資料という性格も認められよう。 |
