| Remarks | 和歌祭の渡御行列における、練り物と渡り物を描いた絵巻物。ただし、経箱や旗鉾などの先の渡り物は描かれていない。練り物としては、太鼓打・棒振・請棒・母衣・連尺・笠鉾・猿回し・長刀振・雑賀踊が描かれ、渡り物としては、３基の御輿・雲蓋院・神主・町奉行・町与力などが比較的大きめに描かれている。奥書はなく、錯簡や一部欠落・補彩がみられる。既知の資料に比べると、山車は笠鉾しかなく、全体の人数も非常に少ない。年代は、寛政12年(1800)に復興された餅搗踊がみられないこと、江戸時代後期の資料にしかみえない根来者の姿がないこと、元文３年(1738)ごろに成立した『和歌浦物語』（和歌山大学附属図書館蔵）の記述に近似していることなどから、18世紀半ばごろの和歌祭を描いたものと考えられる。 |
