| Remarks | 江戸時代後期の紀州三大窯の一つ、南紀男山焼の壺形花生。染付の唐草文様で外面全体をあらわし、その中央に楷書体で「不如樂庵」と大書する異色の作品である。口縁内側には、雷文をめぐらし、底面高台内の中央に「南紀男山」の楷書染付銘がみられる。付属の書付によれば、幕末の新宮藩主･水野忠央旧蔵品ということであるが、詳細は不明。なお、「不如樂」とは『論語』雍也篇の「好之者、不如楽之者（之を好む者は、之を楽しむ者に如かず）」という文に典拠がある。 |
