| Remarks | 紀州藩御抱えの狩野派絵師･岩井泉流(1713～1772)筆の布袋図である。岩井泉流は、徳川家康以来の御抱具足師岩井家に生まれ、元文元(1736)年23歳にして第6代藩主宗直の御抱絵師となった。のち、宝暦14(1764)年に一時暇を下されるが、翌年復職し、以後子孫代々にわたって御抱絵師を勤めた。作品は、狩野派の伝統に則した堅実なものが多く、本品もその好例である。画面右下隅に｢泉流筆｣の落款と｢馬游斎｣の朱文方印が認められる。 |
