| Remarks | 紀南･熊野地方に所在する滝を、11図にわたって墨画で描いた冊子。谷文晁に絵を学んだ信州出身の合葉文山(1797〜1857)が、紀州を自ら訪れて風景を観て描いたものを、玉浦に来宿した際に借用して写したという、天保４年(1833)４月23日付けの停雲居士(詳細不明)による奥書がある。描かれた滝は、大和田瀑布(下谷滝)・雪瀑(飛雪滝)・獅子落瀑(銚子口の滝)・布引瀑(布引の滝)・三続瀑(蛇和田滝)という熊野川九里八丁沿いの滝や、伊勢路から見えるという大台八丁瀑(八丁滝)、最も著名な那智山瀑(那智大滝)が含まれているほか、三垂瀑・時雨瀑・長島浦松本瀑・上大島金山瀑(いずれも不詳)である。 |
