| Remarks | 江戸時代に盛んに行われた熊野三山と西国三十三所霊場参詣の道中記。冒頭に、秀次という人物が天明５年(1785)１月７日に出発して、４月７日に帰村したことが記されている。この道中記の道程は、江戸日本橋を出発点に、東海道を西に向かい、名古屋から海沿いに津・松坂を経て、紀伊長島に向かう。さらに、海沿いに新宮城下に入り、速玉社・那智山に向かい、大雲取越で本宮社・湯峰から中辺路を田辺に向かっている。田辺から海岸線を北上して紀三井寺・和歌浦・粉河寺・高野山に向かい、不動坂を下って慈尊院に至り、名倉から大畑を経て槙尾山に至って三十三所を巡っている。道中の名所・旧蹟に関する情報や町場間の距離などが記されている。 |
