| Remarks | 円筒形の側面を箆で面取りし、全体に織部系の緑釉をかけたつくね形の蓋置き。糸切の底面には菱形の輪郭に楷書体で｢名草｣と記した印刻銘がある。名草銘の陶磁器は、通称名草焼として知られているが、『紀伊続風土記』･『紀伊国名所図会』によれば、山口荘雄山の土を使い山東で焼いていたものといわれ、年代はおよそ江戸時代の後期(18世紀初頭頃)と推定される。植木鉢などの雑器が主流であったためか、伝世品は極めて少なく数点を数えるにすぎない。 |
