| Remarks | 『熊野遊記』１冊と『熊野名勝図画』２冊から構成され、前者は著者が訪れた熊野の紀行文で、後者には道成寺・日高川から始まり、本宮・新宮城・那智山瀑布など、名所旧跡の解説と絵画を載せている。『熊野遊記』は、漢学者で江戸日本橋において書肆を営んだ、須原屋茂兵衛(北畠恪斎、1731～1782)により著された漢文体の地誌・紀行書で、信濃国（長野県）に生まれ、熊野を訪れたこともある文人画家・鈴木芙蓉(1752～1816)の描いた『熊野名勝図画』と一具のものとして、茂兵衛の没後、寛政13年(1801)に刊行された。 |
