| Remarks | 南方熊楠(1867～1941)が弟子の雑賀貞次郎(1884～1964)に宛てた書簡、および岡書院店主の岡茂雄(1894～1989)が南方熊楠に宛てた書簡の計２通で、いずれも雑賀に関わるものとして、その手許にあったと推測される。前者は、冒頭のみ雑賀宛の書簡の体裁であるが、それ以外は雑賀を介して新聞に投稿した原稿である。内容は、神戸・南洋郵船所属の船長から送られてきたボルネオ産の植物・ジスヒジアに関する調査・分析の経過と結論をあらわしたものである。後者は、雑賀の著作「紀南俚俗」を岡書院から出版するように依頼した熊楠に対する返信で、岡書院ではなく郷土研究社からの上梓を勧める形で、岡は熊楠の申出を断っている。 |
