| Remarks | 紀州三大文人画家の一人・祇園南海(1676～1751)による竹を描いた作品。画面の左に太く力強い竹の幹を大きく描き、画面右に向かって枝を伸ばすいくつかの竹を配している。竹の葉をはじめ、竹の幹や節を描く墨の濃淡差は絶妙で、竹の葉の動きも感じられる。画面右端には、七言絶句の自作題詩があり、白露がおりる寒い季節、詩人が酔いにまかせて竹を刻むという光景をあらわす。また画面左の竹の幹の中に、｢緑暗禽聲濕 花飛蝶夢寒 湘雲｣という詩句を隷書体で記す。款印は「阮瑜之印」「白玉氏」、関防印は「游戯三昧」、竹の幹の款印は「竹溪弌逸」である。 |
