| Remarks | 紀州三大文人画家の一人・桑山玉洲(1746～99)により、岸辺から水に入って川を渡る羅漢を総勢32名描いた、比較的大きな作例である。画面の左からは大きな松が枝をのばし、上部には遠山が描かれている。右下に書かれた款記から、安永２年(1773)の春、玉洲28歳の時に、｢東武驛楼｣で描かれた初期作とわかる。逸然性融(1601～68)や河村若芝(1636～1707)など、黄檗画僧の作品に類例がみられる。 |
