| Remarks | 久木・神宮寺（白浜町）に拠点をおいて、武士として活動していた久木小山家に伝来した古文書群。内訳は、中世文書131点・近世文書446点・近代文書37点、そのほか（書画類）19点である。これだけまとまって鎌倉期以来の文書が残るのは、紀南においては熊野三山以外にはなく、紀南における在地領主（熊野水軍）の活動、中世・近世を通じて熊野における山林用益の実態、中世の在地領主から近世の地士への変化などを知ることができる希有な文書群といえよう。 |
