| Remarks | 祇園南海は、正徳元(1711)年の朝鮮通信使応接の功により、翌年、地方200石を回復して御近習となった。正徳３年(1713)には、紀伊徳川家５代藩主･吉宗(1684～1751)が開設した講釈所(湊講館、のちの学習館)で、藩儒･蔭山東門(1669～1732)とともに講書を行った。この資料は、講釈所の学則を南海が記したもので、聴講が庶民にも開放されていたことがわかる。このような藩儒が組織的に藩校で教授する制度は、全国的にみても早い事例であった。 |
