| Remarks | 様々な種類の鯨を描いた絵巻。冒頭には鯨船と銛先が描かれ、イルカ、鮫、カジキ、マンボウなども描かれている。本図にはそれぞれの鯨について、寸法、風味、1頭から採れる油量、外見上の特徴などが記されている。末尾には、京魚屋問屋錦屋太介、手代錦屋喜介の署名があり、京都の商人が鯨類の仕入れに際して、使用したものと考えられる。 |
