| Remarks | 金木犀の枝にとまる１つがいの叭々鳥を描く。画面左下方の岩の間には、菊と吾木香がみえ、全体は左下から右上へ向かう斜めの構図をとる。この伝統的な花鳥画を描いたのは、幕末に『紀伊名所図会』の挿絵を担当するために、京都から紀州に招かれて活躍した岩瀬広隆(1808～77)である。画面左端に、｢天保辛丑秋日、文峰菱川廣隆寫｣の落款があり、天保12年(1841)の作であることがわかる。 |
