| Remarks | この模型は、岩橋千塚古墳群(特別史跡)のうち、前山地区に位置する前山Ｂ53号墳(将軍塚)の後円部にある横穴式石室の主軸方向断面模型である。両袖式石室で、原寸は主軸全長6.48ｍ以上、玄室幅2.23ｍ、玄室天井高4.30ｍで、全体的に小さい石材(結晶片岩)で構築され、石梁･石棚が設置されるほか、玄室から羨道床下を通る暗渠が確認されている。副葬品のほとんどが盗掘により失われているが、古墳群内では、天王塚古墳の石室に次ぐ規模を持つ、6世紀前半の石室である。 |
