| Remarks | この文書は、紀伊国名草郡宇治保の保司･藤原祐長が、元の通り保司の地位を保つために、八丈絹10疋を貢納したことを記す資料である。宇治は、紀ノ川河口南岸部の地名で、現在の和歌山市内にもその名が残されている。『和名類聚抄』には、古代の郷名としてみえないが、『日本霊異記』には「宇治」の地名が登場するので、古代以来の地名であったことがわかる。なお本文書は、保坂潤治氏所蔵東大寺文書として、『平安遺文』(2036号)に収録されているものである。 |
