| Remarks | 坂井芳泉(1880～1942)は、もと紀伊藩御典医・坂井清民の次男として橋本に生まれ、大阪で四条派の絵画を学び、後に和歌山市鈴丸に住んだ。大正期から昭和初期にかけて、和歌浦や和歌祭を題材に多くの作品を残す。昭和初期から和歌浦の開発が本格的に始まり、また和歌祭も衰退していったため、彼の作品は、大規模開発以前の和歌浦の風景、盛んだった頃の和歌祭の様子を回顧する資料となっている。本品は、昭和４(1929)年に京都で制作された屏風絵で、東照宮から御旅所までの渡御行列を描いた大作である。 |
