| Remarks | 愛石は山水画の名手として知られるが、野呂介石門下の紀州の画僧で享和(1801～1804)ころの人という以外詳細は不明である。伝世する作品は、介石より池大雅の影響が強いもので、「空山独帰」と題するこの山水図も、柔らかで淡い墨線を主体とした詩情豊かな表現となっている。画面右上に「空山独帰 愛石」の落款と「愛石山人」の印がある。 |
