| Remarks | 昭和5年(1930)にコンクリート製で拡幅・架換工事が完了した京橋(和歌山市)の、旧木造橋梁に用いられていた擬宝珠。郷土史研究者でコレクターの田中敬忠(1897～1989)が県から払い下げをうけ、戦時中も疎開して戦災を免れ、今日まで保存されてきた貴重な資料である。江戸時代の絵画資料や近代の図面などによれば、朱の欄干の上に、あわせて12〜14基の擬宝珠が据えられていたものと推測される。 |
